This is a website about cooking fancy – not cooking gourmet. It’s not because gourmet cooking is bad – just the contrary, but this is not it.

It’s about taking whatever you cook and making it look gourmet. It’s about taking the simplest of foods and making them look sensational.

Take, for instance, the salad shown above. It’s a simple chef salad but looks great because of the artistic qualities; it’s not just thrown together on a plate.

Take time with your presentation and you’ll get rave revues for cooking the same thing you’ve always cooked, but now it looks fabulous.

Just think of different ways to make the same dish look better. Maybe it’s the way you cut the sandwich, the garnish on the soup or the placement of the food on the dinner plate.

Whatever you can come up with shows the thought you put into your food.

If you care enough about someone to cook and serve them a meal, care enough to make it look beautiful!

Caring shows! Cook and serve with love.

The pie is a ubiquitous symbol of both Italian cooking and Americana. Oven-baked, thin-crust or deep-dish, round or square, it is a common favorite throughout the United States, with a wide number of regional variations.
